Reimagining Gardens

Join Studio Petrichor and the non-profit Poly/Ana for a fun morning of garden tours, thought provoking discussions and community building.

Studio Petrichor is practicing a more regenerative, life-supporting approach to design, implementation and landcare. Over the last five years, this shift in mindset and action has inspired a ripple effect throughout our community. We wish to share this with you. Our goal is to bring you along as we explore what Studio Petrichor has done, how we’ve succeeded (and failed) and most importantly, what we continue to learn along the way.

Studio Petrichor…landscape architecture and so much more!We see the world as one interconnected, living system where our actions have a direct impact on the natural systems that support our lives. We are on a mission to inspire a global paradigm shift by influencing humanity’s reintegration with nature.

Our landscapes and lifestyles are unquestionably intertwined. Together, we design with nature’s intelligence, co-create transformative spaces, and cultivate relationships in our environments. Beyond design is contribution, education and empowerment which is how we want to include YOU in this process.

Why this garden tour?

  • Experience what a whole-system approach to design looks like

  • Get a chance to see water harvesting techniques first hand

  • See how native plant gardens can look during the summer-dry period

  • Ask your important, burning questions

  • Get inspired to reimagine your space

  • Network and spend time with great people

Items you may wish to bring with you:

  • Notepad and pen/pencil

  • Comfortable walking shoes

  • Your camera

  • Your senses and an open heart

This is a wonderful opportunity for landscape professionals, students, garden enthusiasts and everyone to get outside, visit some gardens, and experience what could be possible if we reimagine our landscapes and lifestyles.
